MAFAA Early Awareness
Host a Field Trip on your Campus
The Focus on the Future curriculum is capped off with a field trip to a local post-secondary institution. Most of these 4th – 6th grade students have never been on a college campus. The experience can inspire these students to strive toward higher education. The Early Awareness Committee offers field trips two times during the year: spring and summer. Please indicate your preference on the form.
Successful field trips include a campus tour led by current college students, a hands-on activity and a snack. Members of the Early Awareness Committee will assist you to plan a fun, informative, interactive on-campus experience. MAFAA will also reimburse you for the snack.
