The Minnesota Association of Financial Aid Administrators (MAFAA) is an association of professionals committed to the principle that no one should be denied access to higher education for financial reasons.
MAFAA's Mission Statement:
MAFAA's mission is to provide training, research, information, expertise and advocacy in support of the timely, accurate, and ethical delivery of financial aid funds to Minnesota students.
MAFAA is committed to these principles.
Volunteer for 2010-2011
MAFAA needs volunteers interested in serving our professional association next year. It is a great way to meet new people, keep current on issues, network with colleagues, and serve others. Remember, all your expenses will be reimbursed by MAFAA.
2009-2010 Financial Aid Events
MAFAA
annually sponsors Regional Financial Aid Events in Minnesota. These events
provide basic information about financial aid opportunities and the application
process. We've also listed Financial Aid Nights at high schools that are
open to the greater community.
High School counselors:
MAFAA is pleased to provide you with financial aid event promotional materials, a PowerPoint presentation and handout for use at your school's financial aid night. A brochure can be downloaded for your use outlining the MAFAA organization and FREE resources available to you and your students.
